Nutritional Development Services (NDS) is the school lunch sponsor for Catholic Schools throughout the Archdiocese. It has been our mission to provide healthy school meals to the children of the Philadelphia area for over 40 years. Many changes have been made to the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs over that time. School meals have evolved and improved in many ways to give your child the nutrients he or she needs to develop and learn.
NDS is able to offer breakfast and lunch to all Notre Dame de Lourdes students at no cost this school year starting on January 8th, 2018. The breakfast items will be distributed to the children at morning snack time. Please note on the menu that the Pre-Kindergarten students will be offered a different item than the students in Grades Kindergarten to Eight. The PreK and Kindergarten teachers will continue to provide snack to those children who choose not to participate in the NDS breakfast. All children in Grades One to Eight may continue to bring their snack and lunch should they not want to eat the NDS breakfast or lunch items.
Because the program is provided free of charge, there is no need to preorder. Each morning, the teachers will take a count of those students who wish to receive a breakfast and/or lunch.

If your child has special dietary needs, please contact the NDS office, 215-895-3470, and speak to the Registered Dietitian, Jean Falk. She may need you to review and/or complete a form so she can best assist your family.
