What would you like your students to take away this year?
I would like my students to take away the knowledge of the effects bullying has and strategies to overcome bullying. I would also like to send my students onto Junior High as responsible and independent young adults.

Why did you become a teacher?
I became a teacher because I heard of and saw a lot of people that did not receive a good education and I wanted that to change.  Also, I really enjoy having children around.

What is your favorite lesson to teach?
I love to teach about the Sacraments, especially Baptism.  The students do a report on their Baptism, which is always interesting. At the end of the lesson, my class acts out a Baptism in Church.

What is one thing your students don't know about you?
My students know a lot about me, but I don't think they know if I could change my career for a day, I would be a Broadway singer!
